HOSPITALITY LIGHTING DESIGN

LIGHTING HAS A KEY ROLE TO PLAY IN THE GUEST EXPERIENCE

Beyond simply providing visibility, lighting sets the mood and atmosphere in every space, from the warmth and comfort of a hotel room to the ambience of a restaurant or the energy of an event space - yet this needs to be reconciled with practicality.

  • Task lighting is essential in kitchens or hotel lobbies so staff can see clearly, without encroaching on the guest experience.
  • Foundational light needs to be established with ambient lighting, setting the mood while being easy to navigate with.
  • Depth and interest can be added with accent lighting, drawing attention to a grand staircase, a piece of lobby art or decorative features in a dining space.
  • Decorative lighting is the final piece of the puzzle, adding visual interest with chandeliers, sculptural fixtures or even custom-made pieces.

OUR PROCESS FOR YOUR HOSPITALITY LIGHTING DESIGN

Whether you're looking for restaurant lighting, pub lighting or a grand chandelier for your hotel lighting scheme, Lightplan aims to deliver a hospitality lighting design as unique as your space, needs and budget. Enhancing the guest experience and ambience of your establishment is our goal.

  • Start your project with a personalised consultation with the Lightplan team. You can visit us at your nearest showroom, book a remote or in-person consultation or email us at sales@lightplan.co.uk. This allows us to dive deep into your requirements, explore your ideas and review any diagrams or plans you may already have.
  • Once we have gotten to grips with your hospitality project's unique needs, we will create an equally unique specification. This proposal will include fittings, fixtures, any special features, lighting placement and a transparent cost breakdown.
  • We will then get to work procuring all the necessary components for your project, ensuring that your goods arrive precisely when and where they’re needed to kickstart your project.
  • To ensure a seamless installation process, we have qualified electrician partners who work with us throughout the planning stage to ensure installation is carried out professionally and as to plan specifications. Our lighting designers can also liaise with your own electricians to discuss the finer details and provide guidance if necessary.
  • Once the electrician has done their part and signed off on the installation, your designer will conduct a final inspection to verify the lighting has been installed according to specification.
