Bathroom Zone IP Ratings
Every fitting in a wet area is checked against the zone it sits in. The correct IP rating is specified from the outset, not amended after the fitting has been purchased.
Emergency Lighting Coverage
For commercial projects we confirm which areas require emergency lighting under BS 5266, calculate maintained lux levels on escape routes, and include emergency fittings in the specification and schedule.
Part L Energy Calculations
We calculate the proportion of efficient light fittings against the total across the scheme, confirm that lumen and efficacy thresholds are met, and document the calculation for Building Control submission.
